Piers practises exclusively in the field of children law, undertaking complex and important cases at first instance and on appeal. He now has a predominantly private law practice, principally focusing on child arrangements and relocation disputes. He has extensive experience of cases (private and public law) involving allegations of serious physical or sexual abuse and entailing the analysis of complex expert evidence. His practice also covers LGBT+ parenting, surrogacy and parental order proceedings, as well as abduction and jurisdictional disputes. Piers has appeared in numerous reported cases.
