Monty Taylor is a partner in the international arbitration team at Arnold & Porter (London office). He has extensive experience representing clients in commercial and investment arbitrations in a wide range of sectors (including mining, pharmaceuticals, energy, banking and finance, and shipping) under the major arbitration rules. He previously served as Legal Counsel to ICSID at the World Bank in Washington, DC, and before that time he practised arbitration at a leading international firm in Australia. Monty is regularly invited to lecture in the field of international arbitration, and he has presented lectures at, among other institutions, University of Cambridge, Harvard Law School, and Queen Mary University of London. Monty also serves as Adjunct Professor of Public International Law at Pepperdine University.
