Kohe is a Singapore-based partner in Reed Smith and a director of our Singapore law firm partner, Resource Law LLC.
She has extensive experience in international commercial disputes and in corporate matters. Her focus is on both contentious and non-contentious matters involving the energy, mining, commodities and shipping sectors, particularly in Singapore and emerging markets such as Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Sri Lanka.
She is regularly ranked by Chambers and Partners for her work in Cambodia. Clients have described her as “unparalleled – an international lawyer who fully understands Cambodian nuances” and as a “highly commercial, yet a very tough negotiator."
Kohe’s contentious experience, including in arbitrations, has assisted clients to troubleshoot and mitigate risks at the outset of any transaction. She has advised clients, including funds, VCCs and family offices, on the acquisition of numerous energy and infrastructure projects including mine acquisition, concession agreements and power generation assets.
Kohe has co-authored several books including “The Guide to Challenging and Enforcing Arbitration Awards” and “Arbitration in Singapore: A Practical Guide”. She writes extensively on developments in arbitration and is often approached for her views on the investment climate by publications such as The Business Times of Singapore, The Jakarta Post and The Phnom Penh Daily.
