Partner at DLL, Juan Esteban has focused his professional practice on complex corporate matters, having more than 14 years of experience advising national and international clients. Juan Esteban was admitted to practice in Ecuador in 2010 by the Universidad San Francisco de Quito and holds a Master's Degree in Business Law from the same institution in 2016.

Within his practice, he has had the opportunity to work on all sort of complex corporate matters, mainly focused on the design and implementation of modern and efficient corporate structures. He has also participated and worked along various clients in local and cross-border M&A transactions.

Another important aspect of Juan Esteban's practice consists of estate planning, advising family businesses and their shareholders, focusing on the implementation of good corporate governance policies, designing, and implementing transition plans, as well as designing succession processes aiming towards protection and long-term growth of family assets.

Given his recognized trajectory, Juan Esteban has been appointed as a director of some companies with a local presence, as well as to accompany and advise the Boards of other companies to help accomplish innovative and lasting business strategies.
