He has been instrumental in a few landmark cases. He is the lead counsel representing 3M in obtaining damages of RMB 3.5 million, far exceeding the statutory limit in the Trademark Law, against a Chinese infringer. The decision was upheld by the court of second instance as well as by the China Supreme People’s Court (“SPC”). The case was selected by SPC for its annual 50 exemplary cases. Jack has also led a team of litigation lawyers in obtaining for China Spider King Group favorable court decisions in the opposition review administrative proceeding.
