Hélène Daher’s expertise covers all aspects of labour and employment law. With her team, she assists and represents French and international companies on both collective (relations with the employee representatives, negotiation of collective agreements, reductions in force…) and individual work relations (negotiation of strategic hirings…).

Hélène has in-depth expertise in major collective redundancies and reorganizations, as well as complex pre-contentious and contentious situations (harassment, discrimination, overtime, claims surrounding bonuses…). She also has a strong track-record in M&A-related employment law advice and recognised experience in top executives’ departures, in particular in the context of very high profile and sensitive cases.

Hélène leads a team of four lawyers fully dedicated to Employment Law and is also assisted by a University Lecturer, Stéphane Vernac.

Career

Hélène holds an Advanced Postmaster Diploma (DEA) from the University of Paris II and an LLM from the University of London. She was Laureate of the Paris Bar School. She spent most of her career in international law firms: Baker McKenzie (2006-2007), Hogan Lovells (2008-2010) and Freshfields, where she was elected Counsel (2010-2016). Prior to founding Daher Avocats in May 2020, she joined Orrick in 2016 and was elected partner in 2018.
