Friederike van der Jagt set up Hunter Legal B.V. after having worked as a privacy lawyer for leading Dutch law firms Van Doorne and Stibbe, and as Senior Legal Counsel Privacy for an international cyber security software company. She is a regular speaker and author on privacy and related matters and an editor of the SDU Data Protection Case Law Journal. Besides being the chairwoman of the Take Back Your Privacy Foundation and a member of the General Board of the Grotius Academy, she is a member of the education advisory board of Technology Meets Law. She is an alternate member of the Dutch Disciplinary Appeals Board and a member of the Analytics Advisory Committee of the Dutch Ministry of Finance, fellow of the Business Law Institute of the Radboud University in Nijmegen and a part-time lecturer at the Open University.
Member of the Dutch Privacy Law Association (VPR) and the Dutch Privacy Lawyers Association (VPR-A). Member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) (CIPP/E and CIPP/US-certified).
