Practice Areas
Evguenia DEREVIANKINE is the founder of PARADIGMES law firm.
PARADIGMES specialises in the complete life cycle of goods. This cycle starts with the design of goods and continues with the procurement of raw materials, manufacturing, transportation and export/import of goods. The cycle does not end when the goods are placed on the market, and continues when they are abandoned and enter a waste treatment process. Recovered and recycled, they re-enter the production process as secondary raw materials. PARADIGMES' work consists of linking the legal and economic constraints of all the stages that goods/waste go through, studying their interoperability, and helping operators to build their commercial strategy accordingly (drawing up business plans, managing crisis situations, supporting litigation, etc.).
PARADIGMES' areas of expertise are: customs regulations and duties; transport regulations; product requirements; export and import controls; Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR); industrial environmental law; waste management regulations; environmental taxation (including the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS) and the Border Carbon Adjustment Mechanism (BCAM).
