Elaine Hughes

Elaine is US Co-Head of Funds & Asset Management. She focuses on credit funds, hedge funds, private equity funds, venture funds, funds of funds, and other pooled investment vehicles.

Her clients include leading U.S. and global funds and investment managers.

Elaine has experience in the formation, structuring and operation of U.S.-based and offshore investment vehicles, joint ventures, managed accounts, and other alternative investments. Her advice includes structuring transactions, devising shareholder and partnership arrangements, providing regulatory advice to investment advisers, as well as corporate transactional advice and strategic alliances.

Elaine is a thought leader in her field and is regularly invited to speak on the topic of private funds and investments. She also previously served as committee co-chair for the National Venture Capital Association Model Legal Document Working Group.
