Christof Püschel represents clients in all areas of commercial criminal law. In addition to representing companies in criminal law cases, his main emphasis is on defending accused individual. He gives particular consideration to insolvency criminal law. He also advises and defends freelance members of professions (doctors, lawyers, notaries, tax advisors and auditors) in professional legal proceedings.
Career
Christof Püschel is a founding partner of the firm verte|rechtsanwälte. A lawyer since 1996, he has been a certified specialist lawyer in criminal law since 1999.
Professional Memberships
Christof Püschel is a member of the executive committee of the Criminal Law Working Group of the German Bar Association (DAV), the largest criminal defence organisation in Europe. Furthermore, he is spokesman for the Insolvency Criminal Law Working Group of the Economic Criminal Law Association (Wirtschaftsstrafrechtlichen Vereinigung e.V.).
Publications
He is co-editor of the magazine StraFo and author of numerous publications on substantive criminal law and criminal procedural law.
