■ Represented the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, in connection with its issuance of US$1,000,000,000 5.625 per cent. Notes due 2031 under its Global Medium- Term Note Programme

■ Represented the Joint Lead Managers in connection with the issuance of US$500,000,000 5.500 per cent. Notes due 2024 under the US$2,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term Note Programme by a Bahraini Bank

Islamic Finance:

■ Represented the sovereign wealth fund of the government of Bahrain in connection with the issuance of US$500,000,000 trust certificates due 2027 issued pursuant to the US$ Multicurrency Trust Certificate Issuance Programme established by it

■ Represented a leading Bahraini Islamic wholesale bank in connection with its first sukuk issuance of US$300,000,000 certificates due 2025

■ Represented a leading Islamic Bank based in Bahrain in relation to the voluntary offer made by a major Bahraini bank to acquire up to 100% shares of the Islamic Bank

■ Represented the Kingdom of Bahrain, acting through the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, in connection with the issuance of US$1,000,000,000 trust certificates due 2027 under its Trust Certificates Issuance Programme

■ Represented the Bahrain Government’s investment arm in connection with the issuance of US$600,000,000 trust certificates due 2024 issued pursuant to the Multicurrency Trust Certificate Issuance Programme

■ Representing a major multinational bank against a leading printing press Company in Bahrain in respect of violation of ISDA Terms claiming an amount of US$2M

■ Representing a premier investor in the food and agribusiness sectors against a local Food Distribution Company claiming US$4,244,660.68 for transaction dispute

■ Representing Middle East and international banks in a Bankruptcy and Reorganisation Case filed by a leading business group in Bahrain for approximately US$180M

■ Defending a leading Investment Bank in a claim filed by an Investment Company providing Islamic financial products in GCC and UK, in relation to a disputed transaction claiming an amount US$19,081,020
