Government Audits & Investigations Employment Litigation:

The firm provides employers with a full range of representation in single-plaintiff and class action employment litigation before state and federal courts, government agencies and arbitration panels, involving claims of discrimination, restrictive covenants, retaliation, wage-and-hour violations and other statutory claims.


Labor Relations:

The firm represents unionized and non-unionized employers in a broad range of labor relations matters, including representation campaigns and elections, collective bargaining, arbitrations, strikes, decertifications and unfair labor practice charges. The firm provides comprehensive guidance to independent schools, colleges and universities and is available to address the myriad issues that arise for school administrators, such as student and employee disciplinary matters, promotions and tenure, internal grievances, investigations, risk management, regulatory compliance, layoffs and employee terminations. The firm prepares a wide range of documents for its education clients, including faculty and staff offer letters, employment contracts, admissions documents, student enrollment agreements, bylaws, bullying prevention and intervention plans, data security compliance programs, employee handbooks, faculty handbooks and student/parent handbooks, including disciplinary procedures and codes of conduct.


Mediation & Arbitration:

The firm represents employers in binding and voluntary alternative dispute resolution efforts such as mediation and arbitration with respect to education, employment and labor disputes.
