Firm Overview:
Moreno, Sáez & Avilés is a boutique firm with an outstanding practice in environmental and natural resources law. The firm strategy includes building teams with their clients and expert technical consultants, committing a permanent and personal involvement of its partners, always seeking to provide timely and innovative solutions for complex issues.

Its lawyers handle the environmental authorities and tribunals’ criteria perfectly, thereby being familiar with all of the challenges of different regulated industries.

Main Areas of Practice:
Moreno Sáez & Avilés assists clients from a wide range of industrial sectors. It specialises in providing legal and strategic advice at all stages of a project, from designing and obtaining the relevant sectoral and environmental permits, to the administrative and judicial review of its authorisations.

The firm also specialises in strategic advisory in follow-up and regulatory enforcement to anticipate possible future risks and provide the conditions for continued regulatory compliance. Its lawyers have successfully been involved in negotiations with the Environmental Superintendence, within the country’s most difficult administrative sanction procedures.
