THE FIRM

Established in 1998 by founding partners Sharon Bennett and Ruth Bross, their vision was to set up a firm slightly outside the City and West End which focussed on delivering an outstanding level of service for its clients at affordable prices. Over the last 20 years, the firm has grown organically into one of London’s largest, most experienced, niche family practices with a stellar reputation.

The firm is highly regarded for its strength and depth which enables the team to offer a bespoke approach to each case, providing clients with the support and expertise they need, including an established mediation and counselling service alongside its broader collaborative practice.

Clients come from a diverse range of backgrounds, including business, finance, media, the creative arts and professionals. The team strive to ensure that all clients feel looked after and valued.

The firm aims to minimise conflict whenever possible to achieve the best outcomes for both clients and their families. Where necessary it takes strong and effective legal action. Clients welcome the firm’s strategic, pragmatic and clear advice.

PRINCIPAL AREAS OF WORK

Bross Bennett has extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of family law and the often challenging issues that can arise from a divorce or family breakdown. It is particularly known for its handling of complex financial cases (often with an international element) and its sensitive approach to high conflict disputes over children, including those arising on the breakdown of same-sex marriages and relocation cases. The team are also frequently asked to advise on pre- and postnuptial settlements and cohabitation agreements and undertake contested probate/Inheritance Act cases.
