Yoon & Yang’s International Practice Group is comprised of approximately 90 Korean and foreign qualified attorneys who have practical hands-on experience and thorough knowledge for providing sophisticated advice to Korean and foreign clients based on their vast experience in the areas of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, overseas investment, foreign direct investments, international tax, international arbitration, international dispute and international trade. In particular, over 40 foreign qualified attorneys at the practice group are admitted to the bars in diverse countries including the US, UK, China, Russia, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Canada, Germany, Spain, Australia and New Zealand, strengthening the firm’s legal ability to apply relevant laws and regulations in different jurisdictions to deal with legal issues effectively.

In addition, Yoon & Yang has expanded its global presence by opening offices in Tashkent, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Jakarta. Headquartered in Seoul, the Yoon & Yang team works closely with offices in Tashkent, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi and a desk in Jakarta to assist clients with cross-border operations around Central and South-East Asia. Clients value the bilingual capabilities of lawyers and in-house expertise in Chinese, Japanese and European issues. The team has particular aptitude in international trade, M&A, disputes and IP. In the transactional sphere, it often advises on M&A deals relating to corporate restructuring and international investments, and is active on private equity-backed transactions.
