WongPartnership's Competition & Regulatory Practice is at the forefront of developments in competition policy and enforcement. We are well placed to lead clients through their relationships and dealings with government authorities. We take a lead role in any interaction with the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS), handling all aspects of competition matters in Singapore such as cartel investigations, market studies, unilateral conduct issues, merger control analysis and notifications to the CCCS, as well as the coordination of multijurisdictional merger filings for our clients.
Our highly qualified team has been involved in some of the most significant decisions by the CCCS, including acting in all of its multi-jurisdictional cartel decisions, and in several landmark merger decisions which established important principles of law. Our team has also successfully led appeals to the Competition Appeal Board against decisions by the CCCS.
Our expertise is also keenly sought in areas such as trade and customs regulation, as well as consumer protection laws, where we provide clients with compliance advice, regulatory due diligence and strategic advice on the impact of government regulations on business.
