Overview

The team offers full support for transactional and corporate matters. WKB`s full-service structure allows it to adopt a truly multidisciplinary approach to M&A transactions. The team is adept at advising on highly sophisticated transactions involving issues relating to banking and finance, competition, labour, tax, IP (including the transfer of IP rights in highly regulated industries) insurance, real estate, restructuring (including distressed M&A), public procurement and energy, and they are a go-to practice for cross-border work.

The department is co-led by Andrzej Wierciński, one of the market’s most experienced corporate lawyers and  Jakub Jędrzejak, who has developed strong working relationships with global law firms that do not have Polish offices, and with a number of corporate clients.

The team runs transactions regarding basically all sectors of economy, and is particularly experienced in renewable energy, payment services, tech/IT, transport & logistics, FMCG, healthcare.  The team advises private equity funds and blue-chip companies, and has an excellent reputation for assisting German-, Italian-and French-speaking clients in establishing or expanding their businesses in Poland through its specialised foreign desks.
