Our finance group consists of several partners and other lawyers specialising on various types of financing, including acquisition financing, asset financing, project financing and corporate financing, as well as restructurings.

We regularly advice Norwegian and foreign investment banks, banks and other financial institutions, direct lenders, Norwegian and foreign private equity firms and their portfolio companies and other market participants with the structuring, negotiation, documenting and completion of such financing transactions, including public to private-transactions and IPO financings.

The group specialises on all types of transaction and financing structures used in such cases, such as various forms of bank financing, direct lending and bond financing (including PIK loans, super senior structures, pari passu structures and senior/junior structures combining these and other types of financing).

The team is considered leading in the Norwegian market, keeps on top of all current trends for such financings and, while taking care of the legal aspects of the transaction, is known to keep a close eye on and understand the commercial aspects of the deal.
