Restructuring/Insolvency

Our team has substantial experience with restructuring of both private and listed companies nationally and internationally. We have long experience with assisting a number of different parties in these processes, such as banks and bondholders, the companies that are in a challenging financial situation, buyers and other stakeholders, and investors who wish to invest in companies with a need for restructuring. Our broad experience means that we see the big picture and are able to give marked-based advice.

Our assistance includes strategic advice, negotiation, and preparation of agreements and documentation in connection with voluntary arrangements, moratoriums, refinancing processes and stand-still periods. For international businesses, we consider the interplay between Norwegian rules for insolvency and restructuring and the rules of other countries, including Chapter 11 in the USA and similar rules in Singapore and in the UK.
