Vinatea & Toyama is the largest specialized practice firm in Peru in labour law & employment, renowned for handling the market’s most complex, sensitive, and strategic matters.  

The firm has 3 areas: (i) Consulting; (ii) Litigation; (iii) Inspections. To date, the team is made up of 46 labour lawyers, led by eight partners with between 15 and over 30 years of professional experience: Jorge Toyama, Luis Vinatea, Roberto Matallana, Herbert Prelle, Renato Mejía, Magaly Alarcón, Alfredo Salvador and Eduardo Mercado. Our expertise in this practice has allowed us to simultaneously handle several major conflicts or complex situations, as well as to provide a complete range of services; from general labour and social security advice, planning and strategy to restructuring, complex litigation, collective bargaining, labour arbitration and negotiations with unions and the government.  

Through a flexible, experienced, and creative team, Vinatea & Toyama provides solutions to transnational and national companies from a wide range of industries, including agriculture, banking and finance, mining, telecommunications, wholesale and retail, construction, education, manufacturing of consumer goods, healthcare, among others.
