Veirano has developed a D&I Program, a fundamental element of its culture and part of the company’s strategy. Supported by the Management Board, the D&I Committee promotes internal and external actions on purpose to expand awareness. Five ERGs were created to improve diversity approaches and policy changes focusing on D&I aspects such as age, gender, race, LGBT+ and social origin. A D&I Policy is also being structured.

A new Census applied in 2021 to identify imbalances and enhance metrics. Criteria D&I Engagement was added in performance evaluation to all Firm’s staff and lawyers.

Leadership is committed to increase female participation and representation. Veirano supports the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles (2017) and has a female new Managing Partner (2022). Current Management Committee is composed of 75% of female members. Board of Directors’ has a mandatory seat for female partners and in 2021, two of them were elected (one the most voted among all candidates), representing 25% of its members. The Administrative Management has 88% of female supervisors and 50% of managers.

Veirano is co-founder of , focused on expanding Black lawyers in Brazilian legal market. The Firm also supports Projeto Incluir Direito, preparing Black students for selection programs of main law firms; partners also participate as mentors.
