Trench Rossi Watanabe’s Consumer Law group was created over 30 years ago by Kazuo Watanabe, who had an active role in the drafting of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code and the Law on Public-Interest Civil Actions, as well as in several initiatives to broaden access to a fair legal system.

The firm advises its clients in an integrated and efficient way on how to integrate consumer law-related values and good consumer market practices into their businesses by taking into account regional and global trends, such as the focus on the product life cycle, ESG and sustainability, the reduction of judicial involvement, and the new ways to interact with customers in the digital environment and the metaverse.
