Our Construction practice, the largest in Ohio and among the most experienced in North America, represents public and private owners, design professionals, construction managers, contractors and sureties in connection with all facets of the building industry.

Skilled in structuring unique and fair contracting methodologies, developing collaborative risk management approaches, and avoiding and resolving claims, our transactional construction group has served as project counsel for billions of dollars of construction nationally, including stadium and arena projects for the National Basketball Association, National Football League, National Hockey League, Major League Baseball, and university and minor league teams. Equally extensive is our experience with hotels, multifamily housing, transportation, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, schools, corporate headquarters and campuses, and other commercial, industrial and institutional developments.

Our construction consulting professionals and Project Management Consultants, a wholly owned ancillary consulting practice, combine extensive experience in design, finance, construction consulting, construction management, partnering facilitation and owner’s representation to provide four primary services to the real estate, design and construction industry: owner’s representation, contract & risk management consulting, public & private financing consulting, and partnering facilitation & mediation.
