Spice Route Legal has secured a vast domestic and global clientele, operating in solar, wind, and other existing renewable energy sectors. The team, headed by founding partner Praveen Raju, is also supported by other teams within the firm, offering niche expertise in IP, energy regulatory and related data regulatory matters.

Recent work highlights:

• Advised Ohmium International on its USD250 million fundraise from global investors in what is potentially the largest deal in the green hydrogen sector.
• Assisted MLR Auto, a clean mobility company and three-wheeler electric vehicle manufacturer, in receiving a controlling investment from Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited, a large Indian conglomerate, recognised as the “Deal of the Year” by the IBLJ.  
• Advised IPCL (the Indian Power Corporation Limited) as consortium leader on its bid in response to the Indian government’s request for proposals to scale up ACC battery cell manufacturing in India. ICPL had bid for 5GWh of capacity worth USD176.8 million.
• Advised US-based SenseHawk Inc. on the USD32 million sale of approximately 79% of its stake to Reliance Industries, one of India’s largest conglomerates.
