Skadden's European litigation and arbitration practice has its headquarters in our London office and works closely with Skadden's attorneys around the world. We are known in the market for our ability to win the most complex cases on behalf of our clients, either through court proceedings or arbitration. 

Our current portfolio of arbitration matters is worth in excess of US$100 billion, ranging from large-scale bet-the-company arbitrations spanning multiple jurisdictions, to smaller disputes, especially in growth markets. 

We have extensive experience in devising strategies for dealing with the complex jurisdictional and practical difficulties that can arise with parallel or related arbitrations and litigation. We often work as co-counsel with other European firms and advisers, providing strategic advice, where required. 

Skadden's ability to achieve litigation solutions where other firms have failed is recognised by the number of times the firm is brought in at the appeal stage where the previous firm has failed to deliver the level of client service or strategic analysis required at the first stage of a dispute.
