With over 4 decades of history, our pioneering Tax & Revenue Practice Group continues to be the oldest dedicated practice group of its kind in Malaysia. We handle a full range of direct and indirect matters that include tax advisory, structuring, planning and litigation. We are widely recognised as having consistently had the leading tax litigation, audit and investigation practice.
We have handled various landmark tax cases. Our clients include multinational corporations, international offshore funds, Government linked companies, public listed companies and non-profit organisations.
We are fortunate that we continue to be the reference point for the vast majority of international and multinational companies with a high concentration of cases in the oil and gas industry such as ExxonMobil, Shell, Repsol, BP-Castrol, a number of Petronas subsidiaries, and etc. We also act for MMC Group and Genting Group, to name a few. We continue to receive substantial referral work from the large tax accounting practices in the country, namely, Ernst & Young, TraTax, Taxand, Baker Tilly, PwC, Deloitte and KPMG.
There is a substantial amount of dispute resolution work we undertake that is unreported as we have been able to secure favourable settlements for clients without having to pursue litigation.
