Overview

Schultz Carrasco Benitez advises its clients strategically on all matters related to compliance of environmental and administrative regulations, including environmental audits and the assessment of activities or projects in the Environmental Impact Assessment System. The firm also has vast experience in compliance of rules, principles and standards of ILO Convention No. 169 – Indigenous and Tribal Peoples Convention (1989), and the early assessment of communities and indigenous factors to be considered in the development of an investment project.

The firm also advises its clients in mining, energy, agro-industrial, water treatment and real estate projects, accompanying them before the Superintendence of the Environment or other authorities in case of an inspection/sanctioning process, and also taking charge of their administrative and judicial defence before the Environmental and Higher Courts of Justice.
