Our M&A department is widely known for having the experience and knowledge necessary to deal with large and complex M&A transactions in different industry sectors, such us: banking and finance, pension funds, fishing, mining, energy, food, retail, cement, telecom, education, health, among others. Also, our Corporate department deals with complex corporate structures and general legal matters.

Furthermore, our firm is recognized for participating in highly complex cross border M&A deals, focusing on regional transactions, including jurisdictions such Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela; in which our law firm has represented important Peruvian conglomerates, such as Grupo Breca, Quimpac Corp, Grupo Gloria, Grupo El Comercio, Grupo Crédito, among others, in their expansion to the referred countries and foreign investors acquiring companies in Peru.

Our M&A department is integrated by 13 lawyers, fully working in M&A transactions. Partners and senior members of the M&A team hold LL.M. degrees by the most prestigious universities in the United States (e.g. Stanford University, University of Chicago, University of Virginia, Georgetown University, New York University, among others) and almost all of them have worked for the most prestigious transactional firms in the United States such as Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP.
