Our Construction department comprises of the following practice areas:

Construction & Engineering Transactions:

• We have conducted detailed due diligence of a commercial building located in a prominent commercial area in Dhaka, Bangladesh for the purpose of long term lease by our client. The due diligence not only involved ownership and title but also several licenses and permits required for commercial establishments under Bangladesh laws.
• We advised in a transaction involving Design, Supply, Installation, Assembling & Commissioning Work of Addressable Fire Alarm & Public Address & Voice Evacuation System.

G2G, PPP & Infrastructure projects:

• We have advised CCCC on legal issues involving Shahjalaj International Airport extension project and also on licensing and permits issues.

Construction & Infrastructure Dispute Resolution:

• We have advised our client, Dongfang Electric, on a complex disputes involving Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Inspection, Supply, Installation, Erection, Testing & Commissioning, performance test and related civil and building works including necessary auxiliaries and ancillaries of 150 MW + 10% Simple Cycle (HSD based) Power Plant Project, in connection to the location of the site which was causing several risks with air traffic movement and possible alternative options as per the contract.
