Real Estate and Property Disputes

• Successfully handled complex disputes involving rights to receive rent by landowner, developer and lending bank of a commercial lease from the tenant.

Alternative Dispute Resolution

• Assisted our client, Maruhisa Pacific Co. Ltd., in initiating enforcement proceedings based on the arbitral award.

Capital Market Transactions & Disputes

• Conducted several due diligence for LDA Capital, involving security laws of Bangladesh, and assisted a US-based client in structuring a complex transaction involving Backstop Liquidity Facility (“BLF”).

Commercial Dispute Resolution

• We were involved in a dispute resolution for Lantabur Group, involving the supply of dysfunctional and defective fire detection and protection system (Hydrant & Sprinkler) involving non-compliance report of ACCORD.

Environmental law

• Advised and assisted in resolving disputes for an MNC against the Department of Environment involving environment clearance, sound pollution, dust production, and Building plan approval.

Fundamental rights, judicial review and writs

• Successfully acted for the owners of a multistoried commercial building located in a prime location involving challenging a notice issued by RAJUK.

International Arbitration

• Advised on execution of international arbitration award within Bangladesh jurisdiction involving LMAA.
