Posse Herrera Ruiz´ Public practice area expertise is mainly focused on projects from industry sectors such as infrastructure, transportation, power energy, hydrocarbons and telecommunications.

Our key clients include SPVs and domestic and international sponsors and lenders. Recently, our practice area has grown due to the Colombian Government’s initiative to improve and expand the country’s infrastructure, which in turn, has increased the amount of projects under the public private partnerships (PPP) regime. As a consequence, our firm has been involved in structuring and financing some of the most important PPP projects undertaken by the Colombia Government.

The firm is  best known for our multidisciplinary approach to each project, which ensures the project’s success from a financial and infrastructure standpoint. Considering that each project is different, our firm focuses in understanding the business from our client’s perspective, which allows us to adequately reflect our client’s needs in the legal documentation. Our partners are very well-known for their experience in projects and are actively involved throughout the duration of each project, providing expertise and legal support to the clients.
