About

Provided by Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen

Our antitrust practice covers advisement and representation of clients in connection with:
- general advice on competition and antitrust regulations in Argentina
- antitrust filings and proceedings with the Argentine competent antitrust regulators
- obtaining regulatory clearance and approvals
- litigation related to competition and antitrust cases
- anti-competitive behaviors.

We deliver comprehensive services in a manner that clients benefit from an integrated approach, coordinated across specialties.

We have represented and continue to represent domestic and international clients in antitrust matters arising in many of the most complex and important transactions that have taken place and are occurring in Argentina (including M&As, joint ventures and other business combinations) and across a wide variety of industries.

Our work on these matters includes advising and representing clients in highly controversial contexts (including through litigation and injunctive relief) which in many cases resulted in landmark antitrust decisions and rulings.

We also represent our clients in a large number of investigations and government enforcement actions initiated by competent governmental authorities (both at the administrative and judicial levels, including proceedings before the Supreme Court), such as investigations related to price fixing and discrimination, market division, predatory pricing, exclusionary and collusive practices, and abuse of dominant position in general.
