Commercial real estate lending has always been a substantial part of Otten Johnson’s practice. In a competitive lending environment, having lawyers that understand the importance of and respect the lender-borrower relationship, while remaining keenly aware of how to protect the client’s position, is vital. Since opening its doors, Otten Johnson has been providing that service to lending and borrowing clients on billions of dollars of financings not only in Colorado but throughout the United States. Our Mountain time zone allows us to interact efficiently with clients coast to coast. We also provide borrower representation to our other real estate and land use clients in loan transactions ranging from a standard first mortgage to the most complex financing arrangements.

In the fast-paced world of real estate finance, we pride ourselves on providing expert advice and services, and on closing deals in a timely manner. We handle financing transactions on the borrower side for most of our real estate and land use clients, and have vast experience negotiating loans for multifamily projects (including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac financing).
