In Romania, as in other Central and Eastern European countries, mergers & acquisitions were to a large extent privatisation-driven. We have gathered unparalleled expertise in privatisations, as we have advised on most of the major privatisations in Romania. We acted either on behalf of the Romanian Government, or for private investors, or buyers, most of which have been foreign investors, and we gathered a unique understanding of what dealing with the Romanian State and Romanian authorities entails.
