In 2015 the North West clinical negligence department was established in Leigh Day’s Manchester office led by Stephen Jones, an established specialist in medical negligence with experience in all types of medical negligence claims. Stephen has particular expertise in cases where patients suffer very severe, catastrophic and life-changing injuries.

The team has grown with Partner Brendan Hope joining the firm in 2016 with 15 years' experience of serious and high value medical negligence claims.

The thoroughness of the team’s approach to investigating and running cases, and the meticulous way it examines every aspect of the claim, leads to world-class advice in this area of the law. 

The team are particularly proud of the relationships they establish with patients and their families, dealing with the trauma of often serious injury through forging deep bonds with their clients and their families.
