LEGATE's litigation track record includes achieving successes in some of the largest cases in recent Slovakian history, such as successfully defending our client, the second largest company in Slovakia, against a EUR 66 million claim raised by a private equity house. The claim concerned the price of gas supplied to a million households, and therefore attracted significant media attention. 

We have acted as counsel in arbitral proceedings at the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the Arbitration Court in Prague, the International Court of Arbitration in Paris, the Vienna International Arbitral Centre and the Court of Arbitration if Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Among others, LEGATE mainly deal with civil litigation, arbitration, mediation and administrative court proceedings. The arbitration and dispute resolution work covers the major share of firm's total revenues.
