LatamLex | Honduras was established in 1991 by Dennis Matamoros Batson, and has offices in Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula.  We represent numerous local and international businesses in a wide range of industries including telecommunications, transportation, energy, banking, finance, and service industries, among others. We are known for understanding the needs and urgencies of our clients, and for providing them with a personalized, timely, and high quality service at the best possible cost. Primarily, the Firm is known for its specialization in the banking, finance and corporate areas. Lawyers of our banking and finance team have successfully completed some of the most complex and high profile financing deals of recent times, proving our capacity to provide high quality legal advice in this practice.

Originally known as Matamoros Batson & Asociados and its members have been recognized by prestigious legal publications such as Chambers and Partners, Who’s Who Legal 100, The Legal 500, and Best Lawyers International. Recently, the 2015 publication of Chambers and Partners Latin America ranked our founding partner, Dennis Matamoros Batson, as a “Star Individual”, the first Honduran lawyer to ever receive such ranking and recognition by Chambers and Partners.
