Our TMT practice advises domestic and international clients across the telecommunications, technology, media and digital services sectors. The team combines extensive regulatory experience with strong transactional, commercial and data protection capabilities.

Our work covers telecommunications licensing and regulatory compliance, network access and infrastructure agreements, frequency matters, IT procurement and outsourcing, software development and licensing, cloud services, e-commerce, digital platforms, advertising, cybersecurity and GDPR. We also advise on the launch of new products and services, technology-related disputes and the acquisition of technology and media assets.

Clients include telecommunications operators, technology and digital service providers, media and advertising businesses, software developers, financial institutions, manufacturers and multinational companies. Recent work includes advising on telecommunications network and development agreements, complex cloud and software arrangements, data-driven products, regulatory investigations and compliance with evolving Hungarian and EU digital regulation.

Led by Péter Lakatos and supported by Chambers-ranked partner Iván Sólyom, the practice works closely with our Corporate/M&A, Competition, Data Protection, Banking & Finance and Dispute Resolution teams.
