The department has over 33 years of experience and remains unrivalled in its track record before Bulgarian courts and in domestic and international arbitration proceedings.
It covers all types of individual claims in all areas of business law, including banking and finance, corporate and commercial litigation, unfair competition, energy and project finance disputes, insurance disputes, IP litigation, procedures for recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards.
The team also has experience in collective claims and an impressive background in multi-jurisdictional litigation and international arbitration, securitization of claims, exequatur procedures, writ of execution-related procedures, proceedings under the Hague Abduction Convention, collection of evidence under Council Regulation (EC) No 1206/2001.
The spotlight increasingly falls on alternative dispute resolution such as debt restructuring, debt-equity swaps, and acquisitions as alternative methods of enforcement. The practice also focuses on trade mediation.
