The Irwin Mitchell planning team works with the wider real estate and construction groups and provides an end-to-end service incorporating all of the legal disciplines required to turn an empty site into a finished, occupied, development. 

Whilst the planning team maintains a distinct identity and client base, a large number of our major projects involve fee-earners and disciplines from across the broader team. Ties between the different practices are particularly strong when dealing with strategic land and enabling development projects. 

The Irwin Mitchell Planning team is probably best known for its promotion of mixed use, regeneration schemes involving former brownfield land – frequently in the context of the redevelopment of former industrial land or education campuses.
