Hogan Lovells' China and Hong Kong competition and antitrust team is as part of our wider Antitrust, Competition and Economic Regulation (ACER) practice.
We are one of the very few international law firms which have a dedicated antitrust practice in China led by a dedicated antitrust partner. Our China/Hong Kong antitrust team is fully integrated with the other two key antitrust jurisdictions – U.S. and EU. Indeed, our Greater China antitrust lawyers collaborate with colleagues in Washington, D.C., Brussels, London etc. on a regular and seamless basis.
We have a relatively large team of five dedicated antitrust lawyers in Beijing, with four additional lawyers working on antitrust matters as part of their practice. In Beijing, the antitrust team includes a former MOFCOM official (Andy Huang) and two Chinese lawyers practising in Brussels and Washington, D.C., respectively. In Hong Kong, we have a team of five lawyersworking on competition/antitrust matters including senior lawyers Henry Wheare and Danny Leung (both Counsel) who share their practice between competition/IP and competition/dispute resolution, respectively.
We have a broad antitrust practice in China/Hong Kong. We have a good mix of merger and non-merger work, and a wide range of issues including government
investigations, litigation issues and counselling work.
