Our lawyers represent both developers and institutional investors in joint ventures to acquire and develop multifamily, office, industrial, retail, medical and mixed-use property, with particular focus on projects that include both taxable and tax-exempt venturers. We handle a wide variety of real estate financings, including construction loans, refinancings, permanent loans, mezzanine loans and preferred equity investments in virtually each type of property use: land acquisition, multifamily, condominium, industrial, hotel, office and retail space.
We have assisted clients on many multistate projects, including purchases of self-storage facilities, warehouses, luxury hotels and assisted-living facilities.
We also have extensive experience representing investors in acquiring distressed debt to secure the underlying real estate through bank foreclosure or other mechanisms. And we handle capital market transactions including repurchase/warehouse facilities, subscription lines and fund and REIT level debt.
