The Construction, Infrastructure and Projects team at Hall & Wilcox is known for advising on large-scale construction and major infrastructure projects. Our team has specialised knowledge and experience in advising clients operating in a highly regulated and complex environment.
Our clients include institutional developers, property developers and builders, hospitals, health and aged care providers, local councils, transport infrastructure owners and operators, and energy and utility infrastructure owners and developers.
We are experienced in all forms of procurement, project structuring, construction and project delivery methods. This includes preparing and negotiating development and project delivery agreements, design and construction contracts (including Australian Standards), equipment supply (with or without installation), BOOT, DBFM and DBOM contracts, early contractor involvement, and alliance contracting.
We provide dispute resolution and dispute avoidance advice on complex delay, disruption and variation claims and a variety of defects, bank guarantee recovery, liquidated damages, and other contractual and negligence claims including in relation to the security of payment legislation.
