FTI Consulting’s Crisis and Litigation Communications Team is a market leader in its field and works with corporations, public and private entities, boards of directors, management and other individuals to develop and execute communications strategies in connection with multi-dimensional, complex crises and litigation, including government investigations, cybersecurity incidents, operational incidents, workplace misconduct, enforcement actions, and internal investigations, among others.

The team has worked with clients and law firms on investigations and civil and administrative proceedings brought by regulatory bodies, federal and state banking regulators and state law enforcement agencies throughout the U.S. They have also represented companies and individuals in connection with congressional investigations, inquiries and regulatory reviews.

The team combines legal and industry sector expertise with first class strategic communications expertise. The team is comprised of communications experts, former lawyers, journalists, Congressional investigators, corporate spokespeople and government officials – including the former spokesman of the U.S. DOJ and the communications director of the U.S. SEC. The team’s approach is grounded in foundational message development and disciplined, nimble scenario-based planning – drawing on our prior experience to ensure various contingencies and potential outcomes are analyzed to ensure coordinated and consistent communications.
