Drummond Miller has, by far, the most experienced group of immigration practitioners in the country. Our Head of Department, David Brown, brings over 25 years’ of experience, supported by 10-15 years’ experience for each of the group’s Partners. The 22 fee-earner team (solicitors, immigration advisors and paralegals) practices exclusively in immigration law, providing a full service across all areas of personal immigration and nationality law as well as corporate immigration law, including Sponsor Licences, Skilled Workers, and Ministers of Religion.
The department is well-known for advising and acting on the most complex and novel-cases. We have a wealth of litigation experience. Importantly, we act as Edinburgh agents in the vast majority of immigration cases that are raised at the Court of Session and also act as agents in appeals to the Supreme Court. This enables us to stay ahead of the curve in respect of all key legal developments.
We are renowned for our encyclopaedic knowledge of the law and for finding solutions to complex immigration problems. We frequently provide training to outside organisations and other solicitors at CPD events and conferences. We provide pro bono advice surgeries to Scottish based community groups.
