The tax department has had extensive experience and exposure to the country’s most significant deals and cross border transactions as a result of the firms’ active involvement in some of the most complex transactions structured in Bolivia. Thus, the department participates in more complicated structures and scenarios usually not handled by boutique tax firms or smaller firms.

The tax department works closely with the corporate and administrative law departments of the firm, therefore allowing clients to receive highly qualified tax advice without having to request additional or specialized tax advice from boutique tax firms and smaller firms. The firm works as a “one stop shop”, which in turn provides a more efficient service for the client.

In light of the previous, the tax department is capable of handling and advising on operations before they are structured in the country, optimizing tax advantages, advising on everyday tax issues related to the operations and representing clients on tax challenges filed before administrative and judicial courts.
