De Brauw's Banking and Finance department has a broad financing practice but is especially strong in highly complex and multifaceted financing transactions. We do not focus on stand-alone standard financing work (which tends to be low-end of the market and commoditised), but instead focus on high-end  innovative matters of a cross-border and cross-departmental nature. 

We add most value to our clients in matters which are not straightforward but in matters which, in addition to a financing angle, also require the expertise of other specialists such as tax, litigation, M&A, regulatory and insolvency lawyers. 

Matters where we can act as our client's trusted advisor, providing global strategic and legal advice from start to finish and coordinating local law firms as lead counsel. 

Matters in which we can bring to bear our broad expertise and our position in the forefront of legal developments in the Netherlands. Matters which span several areas of legal expertise such as 'bet the farm" financings, high yield financing, emergency funding, restructurings, leveraged and M&A financing and project finance.
