Advise lenders (UK clearing/boutique banks, European and ethical banks, venture capital providers, investors, syndicated lenders and other public/private funders) and borrowers.

Transactions cover all aspects of corporate and property banking work across all sectors: corporate finance transactions (venture capital and commercial funding contracts); complex finance and restructuring exercises; act for clearing banks in lending transactions to pension schemes. Specialisms:

• Advising developers, funders, insolvency practitioners and borrowers in leisure/hospitality sector
• “Go-to” firm in social housing, incl. advising RSL seeking long term loan agreement £20m through bonds
• Project finance team acts for banks lending to renewable projects and advises borrowers in project finance deals
• Instructed by Triodos Bank NV in ethical/social finance 
• Advise Banks and Insolvency Practitioners on security suites, restructuring matters and recoveries.
• Advising TSB on lends for transactions situated both north and south of the border.

Recent work highlights.

• Acting for Triodos Bank UK in the restatement of its Facility Agreement for Blackwood Homes and Care, a Housing Association at a high value of £5,000,000 (£5million).
• Advising Close Brothers Limited on the facility of £8,748,000.
• Acted for Stena Line Group in a global refinance exercise relating to the company’s Scottish Ferry Terminal/Port facilities. This revolving multi-currency credit facility values c. €535million.
