An excellent relationship with the French Tax Authorities resulting in the team’s lawyers being frequently consulted on tax legislation reforms and having direct access to the French Tax Authorities’ top management to discuss the tax controversies they are handling and to define settlement solutions if and when appropriate. The team is also very active with the following professional and business associations: the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the Association Française des Entreprises Privées (AFEP), the Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux (IACF) and the Association Française de la Gestion financière (AFG).

Renowned expertise in assisting clients in relation to high-stakes tax controversies, from initial discussions and/or negotiations with the French Tax Authorities in the context of tax audits or assisting clients in relation to dawn raids, to defending cases in courts or advising on questions of constitutionality referred to the Constitutional Council, as well as defending clients in criminal proceedings involving tax fraud.
