BOYANOV & Co.’s Employment Department is distinguished for the following:
1. Participated in all major M&A deals and greenfield projects since 1990, all of which had a material employment element. Many of these cases required a pioneering approach – to find legal solutions and propose structures for which there were no precedents in Bulgaria (e.g. the first offerings of incentive plans to Bulgarian employees).
2. Very strong knowledge of all specific employment law sectors and of the practice of all state authorities in these sectors (labour inspection authorities, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, Agency of Employment, etc.) – employment in the context of a transfer of undertakings, disciplinary procedures, employment and relocation of expats, work permits and visas, posting, remuneration and benefit plans, personal data protection, anti-discrimination regulations, elections of representatives in Special Negotiation Bodies and European Works Councils, collective bargaining, collective redundancies, collective disputes, etc.;
3. Provides inter-disciplinary advice taking into consideration all possible effects of the employment structure, including tax, social and health security, and reputation effects;
4. Building long-lasting relationships;
5. Assistance in emergency situations (such as in cases of accidents), when a decision has to be taken immediately by the management of the clients.
